Mike held a variety of positions in both the public and private sectors before establishing Huebschmann & Associates. During 15 years in graduate and post-graduate academic work, he conducted and published peer-reviewed research in the areas of forest biometrics, silviculture, management and economics.He gained experience in agroforestry and community development while attached to an NGO in Indonesia. After moving to private industry in 2000, Mike’s efforts centered around developing quantitative methods that assisted Boise Cascade’s decision makers in identifying strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and improving harvest scheduling and forest management modeling. Mike holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Forestry and a PhD in Agricultural Economics. |
